Donna Dewberry Brushes by Plaid

One Stroke Flats have long bristles and are not as thick as other flat brushes. They also have a much sharper chisel edge.

Start using these brushes straight from the package! Just dampen their bristles with water and dry with a paper towel before beginning to paint. When cleaning, it's okay to use the rake in the bottom of theBrush Basin, but be gentle.

Donna uses flat brushes for all of her stroke work. You can enlarge or reduce the size of any project by simply using a larger or smaller brush for the pattern. When deciding which brush to use, choose the larger brush for the area that feels most comfortable to you. (One painter may be comfortable with a #12 while another painter may be just as comfortable with a 3/4".)
